Venue Change...

The gig this Friday at the Fox & Newt in Leeds has been moved to the Duck & Drake still in Leeds.

NEW LINE UP FOR 2008

The new line-up including Barry Burrows, Johnny H and Steve Wright will be playing The Crimea Tavern Saturday night. The line-up will also change in the coming weeks as a very experienced and highly recognised second guitarist will be joining the band, news to follow. Drumming duties will be shared for the time being between Steve and Tony Race.

New Gig and Guest Drummer...

A gig at the Brewery Tap in Idle has been added for Saturday the 13th of this month, Roy Whyke of the Charlie Speed band and Jon String band will be standing in on drums. Roy has played with the band previously and is considered one of the best drummers in the north.

New drummer Paul Holland will be taking over from Steve over the next couple of weeks, the drummers have done a switch with top Thin Lizzy tribute band, Twin Lizzy.  Also Steve Pickles now has his own website up and running click here to view.

Drummer needed...

The band are looking for a good quality drummer to replace Steve needs to free up time for other commitments. If you would like to audition get in touch with Harry on 01226 384030 or contact the band through the website on contact page.

Next gigs...

Harry will be back with the new 4 piece line-up, Steve on guitar, Steve on drums and Barry on bass for the gig on Fri 30th The Silver Fox in Stocksbridge [West Street Live on 29th Cancelled]. They will be showcasing a whole new setlist so dont miss it. The old line-up of Paul, Steve, Tony and Roy will also be playing two gigs at The New Roscoe in Leeds early July. Steve has finished his tour with Cindi Lauper and Paul has been extradited from South America. The bed and breakfast Tony and Roy set-up has gone from strength to strength and Alan Sugar has bought them out.

New Line-up...

Harry will be back in June with a complete new line-up band which will be announced shortly. Tony and Roy will be joining the excellent John Moore and both are continuing their work with Stormbringer. Steve has headed for the States to work with Cindi Lauper and Paul has started a Blues trio called The Pablo Diablo Experience and will be touring South America this summer.

LIVE DVD...

The band will be recording a Live DVD this Thursday down at The Snooty Fox, so come along and get in on the act. The band will also be playing West St Live in Sheffield Friday and Saturday.

Weekend Gigs...

The band will be playing four gigs ove the bank holiday weekend before a long break. The band will be playing at The Silverfox Saturday night, The Crimea in Castleford around 5pm Sunday followed at 9pm in The Carlton Pub in Castleford then Monday the band will be playing their Colne Blues Festival debut at The Conservative Club, they will starting around 1.30pm.

The band play this Thursday in Leeds centre at the Duck and Drake followed on Saturday in Tideswell, Buxton, both are new venues for the band. There are 5 more gigs for the rest of August after these with the last one being at Colne R&B festival. The band will then be in a period of hiatus till mid October due to Paul travelling.
