The refreshingly smoke free atmosphere of The Pack Horse in Royston provided The Harry Coffey band to shine with an impressive repertoire of rock/blues anthems on Friday night. Although the set was high quality as a whole, there were some moments of sheer brilliance during two long and enjoyable sets. The first set had notable highlights such as Unchain My Heart so accurately performed as Joe Cocker would have done, and Stevie Ray Vaughan's Pride and Joy was another high quality inclusion. The second set was packed with highlights including a superb version of Red House and Cream's classic Sunshine of Your Love, Purple Haze, and a brilliant Hey Joe with Paul Roffey playing his Telecaster behind his head! You don't realise how many rock/blues classics there are and The Harry Coffey Band seem to play them all! This band need to be on the Colne Blues Fest Trail.   Steve Lally - Rock of The North

"Amazing..." Dearne FM, New Music File"Excellent musicians....thoroughly recommended" Blues Matters"Excellent R&B!" New Roscoe Review

Sunday tea time and i went to the INFLI (INFAMOUS LION) to witness the HARRY (BAZ) COFFEY BAND performing some of my favourite blues numbers...and they did it with panache and professional dignity to a less than impressive audience! The place filled up round about 9pm and the music got better and better, BAZ gave us vocals to match the quality of the songs and the band were excellent. Yet another top quality guitarist has entered my list of favourites in the shape of JOHN (LOTS) MOORE.  Tony Of Cas - Rock of The North
